Bank holiday adventures

This week has been really good so far, my friend Laura and I decided to go on a bike ride on bank holiday monday as the weather was predicted to be so nice. We biked from Laura's house in Ratby to a place called Thornton reservoir, it's been a while since i went on a bike ride but it was such a lovely day and pretty rare as we work alternate days so never really get to do anything like this together. We had a little picnic and chilled by the water, then found a park with a zip wire and had a bit of fun being kids again and of course enjoyed an ice cream before heading back, we ended the day with a nice cider at the pub, it was a great day with lovely weather and good company (minus the aching bum from the bike seat!)
